Candyway Escape (the "Game") is provided by the Candyway Escape team ("we", "us"). When you use the Game or buy items in it, you are entering into an agreement with us. By continuing to use the Game you accept these Terms.
Who can play
You must be old enough to agree to these Terms in your country, or have a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account.
In-game purchases
The Game offers optional items such as booster packs, streak savers and an ad-free upgrade. These are digital items with no real-world cash value, can't be exchanged or transferred, and are licensed to you for use in the Game only.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
Fair play
You agree not to:
- use the Game for anything unlawful, fraudulent or spammy;
- cheat, exploit bugs, or submit fake leaderboard scores;
- use offensive or impersonating player names;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property;
- interfere with the Game's security, including malware, probing, scraping or reverse engineering.
Our content
We own the Game and everything in it, including its software, levels, artwork, music and branding. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to play it.
Leaderboards
Player names and scores you submit are shown publicly. We may remove entries or names that break these Terms.
Availability
We work hard to keep the Game running, but it's provided "as is" and we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Progress saved on your device can be lost if you clear your browser data.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, don't pay for purchases, or pose a security or fraud risk.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the date above when we do.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States.
